I am using OLAY Total Effects face cream and I love it. I started using it again just after my disappointment with a cream from Joey New York.
The first time I tried Total Effects was about a year ago, and when I was buying my first bottle, two girls were hovering around me trying to get as many bottles as they could (it was on sale) and saying, "I wouldn't use anything else. I've been using it for 3 years now and I can't live without it." Wow, I thought they must really love it. I took a peek at their skin, to see if there was evidence of good effects to back up the way they felt about the product. Yep, they both had good skin - clear, firm, tiny pores, bright and happy. I hoped it would do the same for me. It did.
I took a break from using it for about six months and now that I am back on it, I have to say that I can feel and see the difference in my skin. The main thing I notice is the brightness - the luminosity of the tone is something I haven't seen with other creams. The second thing of prominence is that my skin is smooth to the touch even in areas where it wasn't before - like the nose and chin.
Using this cream, takes away the need for regular exfoliation because it does it for you - gently. There aren't AHAs in it. The dead cells come away from the load of vitamins in the cream.
I'm not sure that I can use any product for years in a row - just because I love trying new stuff - but I do see this cream as having a regular appearance on my cosmetic stage.
Do you know of any other gems in the face cream market that are must-haves? I would love to try them.
