Skin testing Nivea and Garnier
April 9th 2008 04:07
I recently bought two new skin products: one to ward off spots and the other to oxygenate my face.
I usually don't get pimples but getting two in two weeks, got me to take some action. I acquired a spot gel - Garnier Anti-Marks Pen - to kill the buggers as soon as they appear. It's a good product. It really does dry pimples out plus it doesn't feel too harsh. I was expecting it to sting my skin but it didn't.
If you believe Nivea's latest TV ad for its latest product - Oxygen Power - then you will rush out to buy this face cream just like I did. Luckily, I like the results. It is deliciously silky, absorbs well and afterwards your skin feels supple and hydrated. I especially like how smooth it makes my decolletage, and at $15 bucks a bottle I will have no hesitation in using ample amounts on this area of the body. (Target has a 20% off sale right no so you can pick this cream up for $12.80).
I think sometimes we forget our decolletage because we focus more of our attention on our faces, but the decolletage is as exposed to the elements as our faces and hands. These 3 areas are most likely to sign shows of aging - face, hands and decolletage - so it's important that we keep them moisturised.
I think the decolletage is happy with the most basic of moisturisers - it doesn't have to be expensive or fancy. Just get some moisture/oil into it so that over time it doesn't get those long line wrinkles like vertical crows feet!
