Wash me in moisture

I use to moisturise my whole body at least a couple of times per week but now I have found a little trick that saves me from regular smothering of body creams. I use a moisturising body wash! I like the Dove range as well as Aveeno and St. Ives.
I think you have to find a moisturising body wash that suits your skin because some of them don't do much more than wash your skin, just like soap. I don't believe they have to be expensive. I base my choice on their descriptions - anything that has oils and moisturising agents is bound to be less drying than soap or normal body washes.
The best test is the body test. Check that your skin feels soft and supple not just straight after the shower but some hours later - maybe 8-10 hours later - for proof that your skin got some benefit from the moisturising body wash.
The biggest difference between soap and a moisturising body wash is the tightness factor. I find my skins feels tight after using normal soap. A moisturising body wash feels luxuriant on the skin as you apply it as well as afterward. I find the non-lathering, creamy based ones are gentlest but see what works for you.
